B A RIn 2010, Todd White introduced Las Vegas to the blow-dry bar concept by opening the city’s first venue in a 1,000 square foot space. The space quickly proved to be too small to contain the creativity the Platinum Entourage team had to offer. Today, just three short years later, Todd has expanded to fuel his dream in an 8,000 square foot beauty wonderland, home to the world’s first multi-service salon including a vanity lounge, hair spa and private VIP suite. Gone are the days of a rushed
or stressful salon experience. Platinum Entourage has zoomed in on the social experience by providing a entertaining environment where they can unwind as long as they desire, enjoy a refreshing cocktail or delicious variety of tapas items while feeling as though lounging in a whimsical mansion. There's no franchise "get em' in get em' out" salon feel here. Local Artist/Founder Todd White is far too OCD for that. Instead, you should prepare for every artist in the building to obsess when perfecting your look. Our backstage vibe and attention to detail will unleash the inner model in you! A fusion of ultra lounge meets salon your eyes will be delighted by our eclectic treasures, such as a chandelier dressed in antique jewelry, a seven foot tall fully armored shinning knight, a 12 foot tall mysterious bookcase turned product display. At every turn, an elegant collection of oddities. The design of the space was a three year endeavor meticulously collecting distinctive pieces from all over Las Vegas. Described as a "modern Warhol Factory" our vibe is remnant of something one would find in downtown NYC, magically dropped smack dab in the suburbs of Las Vegas". Our treasures all have a heartbeat. Our most prized display, an antique trunk collection from the days of traveling performers, that was gifted to us by a longtime loyal client. Our partnership with neighbor BJ’s Cocktail Lounge allows you to treat yourself to cocktails and appetizers while getting pampered by the entourage. An expansive outdoor patio will be revealed soon allowing guests to enjoy an entire day of five-star services in an upscale ultra-lounge-like environment inside and out. For those celebrating a special group occasion and for celebrity clientele a private VIP suite with vintage leather couches and sultry amenities awaits. Dubbed the "salon and beyond", our guests are always surprised by what they get a front-row seat for. Whether it be a live jazz band, Art showing or fashion show. Home grown, baby. Todd White, Founder/CEO/Hair designer has been obsessed with perfecting locks for as long as he can remember. If you were to snoop around in his office at the studio you would find a "secret stash" of old wrinkly pictures he keeps to remember the beginning of his career. Todd began hairstyling at the ripe old age of eight. There are many pictures of him sitting on the back of his parents couch styling his mothers hair with an old can of AquaNet (cringe) holding a comb 3x the size of his little genius hands. As his hands began to grow, so did his career. Todd's professional career actually began first as a singer/dancer in Las Vegas. He traveled back and forth from east to west coasts performing for roughly 7 years. During which time his addiction to hair design always remained relevant. He often would miss his cue's and end up running on stage late because he got too carried away styling the showgirls’ hair backstage. Needless-to-say that did not fly with the show producers. Todd began to realize his obsession with hair needed to take the front seat. In 2003 Todd retired from the singer/dancer world and dove into hair design full time. He utilized his contacts and started his career as a hair designer working mainly with the entertainment/fashion Industries; Multi- media campaigns, theatrical production, and runway. His creative work began to generate a buzz and the calls started pouring in. It was at that time he realized he needed to assemble a top notch team of artists in order to accommodate the requests. He teamed up with his creative partner, Hannah Pessagno, in 2005. Platinum Entourage Inc. launched in 2006 after the assembly of his team was complete. Platinum Entourage has provided hair & make-up artists to the TV/film, entertainment and fashion industries since. In September 2010 Todd's obsessive creativity lead to yet another venture. Todd unleashed Platinum Entourage The Blow dry bar and vanity lounge and brought his entourage to the public. Todd has no shame in admitting he's obsessive compulsive when it comes to his artistry, in fact its become a requirement of his entire team. " One must be obsessed in order to truly be at the top of their game. My artists put everything they have into everyone they touch and anything they create.
